From 11 to 14 December 2025, Design Milestone returned to Biswa Bangla Mela Prangan, Kolkata, proving that its spectacular debut was only the beginning.
Spanning 1,25,000 sq. ft., the second edition raised the bar once again, bringing together India’s finest brands, celebrated designers and the country’s most influential design voices for four unforgettable days.
Led by founders Deep Gupta and Seema Gupta, Design Milestone Edition 2 drew nearly 10,000 visitors, marking a spectacular leap from its inaugural edition and reinforcing its place as East India’s biggest luxury design gathering.
The numbers spoke for themselves. Every corner of the fair buzzed with new ideas, fresh collaborations and conversations that mattered. From standout product launches to immersive brand experiences, Design Milestone once again turned Kolkata into the meeting point for India’s luxury architecture and interiors community.
The stage welcomed an exceptional line-up of speakers, including Ali Baldiwala, Jason Wadhwani, Kiran Gala, Mangesh Lungare, Noorein Kapoor, Pashmin Shah, Satyajeet Patwardhan, Poonam Mehta, Priyanka Mehra, Samuel Barclay, Shimona Bhansali, Shilpa Jain Balwally, Sunitha Kondur and Vinithra Amarnathan, whose conversations explored the ideas shaping the next chapter of Indian design.
The edition was further strengthened by its distinguished Outreach Partners: Architecture+Design, Architect & Interiors India and STIRworld, giving the fair an even wider national footprint.
Before Design Milestone opens its doors, Agomoni sets the mood. Conceived as the official prelude to the fair, it is an intimate, immersive journey into the spirit of Durga Puja, the festival that defines Kolkata like no other. More than a cultural experience, Agomoni invites architects, designers, artists and guests to discover the city’s creative soul through its celebrated pandals, craftsmanship, rituals, food and neighbourhood stories. It offers a rare chance to experience Kolkata not as a visitor, but as an insider, creating meaningful connections with the city before the conversations at Design Milestone begin.
Edition 2 welcomed an outstanding community of architects, designers and creative leaders, including Andre Camara, Amrita Thomas, Anuj Bhandari, Iram Sultan, Karan Anand, Mahek Lalan, Prashant Chauhan, Prem Balasubramaniam, Priyamvada Golcha, Rochelle Santimano, Shan Bhatnagar, Shonali Mahajan, Santhosh Sivan, Sneha Ostawal Deshpande, Thomas Parambil, Tushant Bansal and Varun Goyal, reinforcing Design Milestone’s position as one of the country’s most influential gatherings for luxury architecture and interiors.
Design Milestone Edition 3 returns to Biswa Bangla Mela Prangan, Kolkata, from 11 to 13 December 2026, promising an even grander celebration of craftsmanship, creativity and contemporary design.
