Design Milestone is East India’s first luxury design showcase, bringing together architecture, interiors, art, decor, and lifestyle in a three-day celebration of creativity. In just two editions, it has grown into a destination that draws architects, designers, artists, brands, and design enthusiasts from across the country to Kolkata, turning the city into one of India’s most exciting meeting points for the creative fraternity.Through exhibitions, installations, conversations, and experiences, Design Milestone creates opportunities for ideas to travel, relationships to grow, and new perspectives to emerge. More importantly, it offers Indian designers, architects, and brands a larger stage while inviting the country to discover the creative energy of the East. Because Design Milestone was never meant to be just another design show. It was created as a reason for the design fraternity to come together — and return every year with even more to share.
Deep Gupta and Seema Gupta are the founders of Media Milestone PR, a communications and media relations firm specialising in architecture, interior design, luxury, lifestyle, and the creative industries.
Over the last 14 years, they have worked closely with architects, designers, brands, and creative entrepreneurs, helping shape stories, build visibility, and create meaningful connections across the design fraternity. Through Media Milestone, they have built a reputation for bringing together the right people, ideas, and opportunities.
That same spirit led to the creation of Design Milestone, East India’s first luxury design showcase. Conceived as a meeting ground for the country’s creative community, the platform reflects what Deep and Seema value most: good design, great conversations, and the people who make both possible.
For years, our favourite part of this industry has been the people — the conversations after meetings, the friendships built along the way, and the ideas that come alive when everyone gets together. In many ways, Design Milestone began from that feeling.
We wanted to bring the warmth and creativity of the design fraternity to Kolkata, a city that has always known how to welcome people. Two editions later, seeing familiar faces return, new ones join in, and the country come together to celebrate design has been everything we hoped for.
As we step into our third edition, the thought remains simple — bigger ideas, stronger connections, and many more reasons to meet again.
